January 2006

We have recently had an approach by an ambitious gardener from Barton on Humber to assist in his bid to create a Labyrinth exhibit. He aims to wow experts at the BBC’s Gardeners World Show in Birmingham in June. John Cavill of Brigg Road, who runs Simply Gardening, will be creating the first labyrinth featured on Gardeners World and will also be given a plot 30 x 33 metres to work on, the largest space ever given to a participant.

Mr Cavill has already received lots of support from Businesses and residents in the area and Clark Construction are assisting with the setting out. Further details of the exhibit can be found at www.simplygardening.co.uk

Three Peaks Challenge

Clark Construction have put together a team to take part in the Care International Three Peaks Challenge. This is a "24 hour teambuilding event for the Construction Industry". The event takes place 6/7 May 2006 and is a classic mountain challenge exclusively for the construction industry. To take part in the challenge each team is asked to raise a minimum of £5000.00 and we are currently busy fundraising. We will compete alongside other teams hoping to raise as much cash as possible for Care International. Further information about the work the charity Care Internation is involved with, visit their website at www.careinternational.org.uk
